Girls Group Drop-In
The girls group has been recently set up to support girls in years 7
– 8 within Wincanton and the surrounding area. The aim is to help
girls see how fantastic they really are and develop positive
self-esteem and self-image. It is also a safe place for you to ask
questions about practically anything! (This means, physically,
emotionally, mentally, spiritually, practical and anything else they
can come up with) Although we may not be able to answer everything,
we hope that we can help you find answers from somewhere…
Currently we meet on a Wednesday from 6pm – 7.30pm in ‘The Space’ at
the Linx Project Offices. We usually have hot chocolates, and plenty
of chillout time. As we are a drop-in, you’re welcome to come for as
much or as little as you would like! We hope to soon have a
programme with lots of exciting things to do, including some trips!

As it is still early days we are still coming up with a group name
and a logo, but as soon as they are done they shall go here onto our
website!
