The Linx Project needs YOUR support. We can't do the work we do without your support. There are three main ways that you can support the work of The Linx Project.

1 - We need you to pray for the Project and all it's areas of work in our communities. We work with young people in King Arthur's, and those same young people are part of your community. They are all brilliant and need your prayers. They are our future communities. So if we want good and wholesome communities, pray regularly for The Linx project, it's workers, its volunteers, and the young people we work with and most importantly thank God for the amazing things we see happening due to Him!

2 - Consider becoming a Linx Project volunteer. There is a bucket load of work that needs to be done. We don't run church meetings. Our job is to help to mobilise volunteers from the churches to work alongside the young people of our communities. We need a whole range of volunteers. You don't need to be a speaker, singer or teacher. Maybe you can listen, or make a good cuppa, or help tidy up after a meeting. There are a myriad of things that need to be done. We don't need to be told what you can't do. Contact us and tell us - WHAT YOU CAN DO. Two particular needs at the moment are:

Transport if you are able to provide transport for young people from the surrounding villages to Wincanton for meetings, etc. the we would love to hear from you.

Advertising -if you can help promote Linx events to young people in your church or area, please get in touch.

3 - You can become a Linx Project Shareholder. What's a shareholder you ask? A shareholder is someone who INVESTS some of their hard earned or saved income into the work of the Project. Without the finance the Project would die. The Linx Project has grown and become very successful. This Project is spoken about in very wide circles. Many have become aware of the success of our project and look to it as a good example.

God has blessed the Project, and we have seen young people come to know Jesus. That's what it's all about. We believe that God is going to take the Project even further, giving us even more responsibility over a wider field of young people who are waiting there to hear about Jesus. Do you want to be part of that story? It is very simple. Help us by giving generously to the Linx Project. How do you do that?

Put your donation however large or small, in an envelope and seal it.

1 - Post or deliver your donation to: The Linx Project Treasurer (See contact details).

2 - Hand your donation in a sealed envelope marked for The Linx Project, to your church treasurer and ask them to get it to us (See contact details).

Why not ask your church to adopt The Linx Project as part of their support program. Encourage your church to have regular fund raising program to support The Linx Project. You could arrange such events as -

Sponsored "Walks, knits, silences etc".
Garage sales.
BBQ's
Parties
Cycle rides
Craft sales
Car washes
Odd jobs for the neighbours

The list has to be endless. If you have an idea that isn't mentioned above please mail us with your idea. We'll look at it and if we think it is Ok we'll add it to our list of suggestions. When you decide what you want to do as a fund raiser contact us as soon as possible so that we can advertise it on our website.

3 - Regular Monthly Payments. To make the whole exercise a lot easier for you, and even more beneficial to The Linx Project why not set up an official monthly donation by standing order. That way it all happens automatically, and you don't need to remember it every month. Contact us for details and we will give you a reference so that we can identify your regular giving from our bank statements. All you need to do is tell us that you want to start giving by standing order and arrange with your bank to transfer the monthly sum to our bank account at:

Even better still, you can download a regular giving form, fill it in and send it back to us. That way The Linx project can also claim back the portion of Income Tax that you pay for this donation. For all charities this is extremely valuable. Ask us for full details.

One Off Donations. Don't forget that The Linx Project can also claim back tax against one off donations too. All you need to do is fill in our donation form as above, so that for any donations you give us we can claim the tax too.
